When I experience a complete lack of customer service, it makes me resent moving to St. Louis. I called early afternoon and asked if I needed to make an appointment for an oil change. The person who answered the phone told me no (with an attitude, by the way) and that I just needed to get there by 5:00 pm (they close at 6:00 pm). I left work early, and arrived at 5:55 pm. The same person who talked to me on the phone turned me away, staying they were too busy. So now I'm half a mile up the road at Dobb's. Why? Because they have customer service skills and communicated to me that there would be a little bit of a wait (which I'm perfectly fine doing), but they'd be happy to change my oil.
This place is a major rip off please never get your work done here!!! I went to Three different shops to get and estimate on my car none of the car shops gave me a price over $165 these low life's ass holes tried to charge me $700 for work I will most definitely be calling Better Business on this company because ripping hard working people off is not right the only reason I tried here was because other shops couldn't get me in today what's even worse they have done work before on another car of mines now I really feel like I was ripped off then never will get any business from me are anyone else if I can help it they robbing people without a gun
In February I had oil changed and brakes had to be replaced, that I had had replaced in September with lifetime brakes so I had to pay was labor but they didn't place with right ones they used the cheaper ones and made my rotors go bad. And now I am dealing with them because they put the oil filter on too tight the last time and 2 other places told me to bring back here. So 8:25 this morning I dropped it off and it's just now 2 pm and they are finally staring to work on my car. This is not right even for having 2 people working shop people who came in after me are gone. I will not cone back here! They even say 15 minutes to an hour and half. Oil change should not take this freaking long.
Worst customer service experience I have ever had. I left crying. The lady at the front desk lied to me. First I called to see if I needed an appointment and she said no so I get there and there is a 2 hour wait. I asked her a specific question about what work I was signing for because she did not show me anything with the prices and she lied to me. I got a ride because they were 2 hours behind and came back a few hours later when they called and 111.00 with an oil change and diagnostic when she told me the brakes were included in that price after I asked her 2 times. They did not honor their coupons. The district manager was more concerned that I said the lady lied to me than the terrible customer service. This was something that should have been easy and it ruined my day.
I'm giving them a five star because the front desk lady was very knd to me when things did not go as I expected them to go. Also, I hate to say this but sometimes mechanics try and get over on women b/c they feel they can get over on us, not just @ Calvert's, but any auto place, but whatever the case, when I brought my male friend w/me, he talked to the manager and the manager was more than willing to understand out plight and rectify the issue, which he did b/c he said he want his customers to come back and do business w/ him again! And the work they did was fantastic!!!! Yes, I will be coming back again.
